Pascack Valley High School focuses on academic excellence and challenges each of its students to meet high expectations. A recurrent theme in this warm and caring environment is, "Striving to be the very best that you are capable of becoming." Our creative, experienced, and highly skilled teachers challenge their students' engagement through a diversified curriculum that supports development in a broad selection of electives and a solid core of academic courses. There is a broad array of courses that allows students to explore potential passions and fields of study.

 Academic excellence is the foundation of student life; follow-up surveys and visitations by alumnus provide consistent feedback indicating the high level of academic preparation from their high school experience. Additionally, we are committed to overall student wellness. This past year we opened the first Student Wellness Center in the area. It is staffed by trained individuals who help and provide resources for students in need of mental care and support.  In addition, student support services include a Child Study Team and a skilled guidance staff.  An Intervention and Referral Services Team specializes in early intervention of at-risk students, and the Student Assistance Coordinator provides services and strategies that focus on prevention and intervention. These carefully coordinated services provide on-going support for students and their families.

 Student opportunities for development and growth are explored beyond the classroom in a variety of co-curricular activities and athletic programs. Our highly successful athletic programs focus on building skill, positive relationships, good sportsmanship, and character.  National, state, league, and individual championships are celebrated and supported by all members of our school.

 At Pascack Valley, we are on a pursuit of excellence that encourages students, staff, and parents to work together to create a school environment that ensures success and happiness for all.
