The Pascack Valley High School Interact Club recently held its annual food drive to benefit the River Vale food pantry. Members of the club donated several boxes and shopping bags full of non-perishable food. Club advisor, Ms. Jessica Andersen, teacher of Family and Consumer Sciences, along with Julie Allmers, Interact Club President, spearheaded the food drive.

The Interact Club, a community service-based co-curricular organization affiliated with Rotary International, aids local families in need. The club motto is "service above self."

“We look forward this year to again assisting the local community through various community service projects,” said Andersen.
