Annual Halloween Costume Drive

The Pascack Valley High School Environmental Club recently hosted its 3rd annual Halloween costume swap at the Meadowbrook Harvest Festival held last week at Meadowbrook School in Hillsdale. The club’s efforts endeavored to promote the recycling and re-use of gently used Halloween costumes.


Club members solicited costumes earlier this month and combined those with donations from last year’s post-Halloween costume drive. At the Harvest Festival, children had more than 60 costumes from which to choose.

The PV Environmental Club asks the community to consider donating this year’s Halloween costumes after the holiday for distribution at next year’s swap.  Please email Mrs. Michela Piccoline at mpiccoline@pascack.org for more information. Ms. Lindstrom and Mrs. Piccoline, both PV Science teachers, serve as the Environmental Club advisors.
