Pascack Valley High School is pleased to announce that Diego Mercado, a sophomore student in Mr. Matthew Morone’s English II class, was named a round four finalist in the New York Times Learning Network 2020 Student Narrative Contest. Diego submitted a work entitled “War and Peas” that he created as part of a unit on narrative writing led by Mr. Morone and his student teacher, Ms. Michelle Chakansky.
