Dana Amato

Dana is one of the new physical education teachers at Pascack Valley Regional High School. She is a graduate of Pascack Valley High School! She furthered her education at Montclair State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science. Dana also holds a Certificate with Advanced Standings in Physical Education and Health. At Montclair State, she continued her softball career and helped take her team to 3 NCAA National Championships with two 5th place finishes and a 3rd place finish in 2012. In 2015, she was given an incredible opportunity to go to Italy to promote softball and represent the USA.

Dana’s other hobbies include coaching softball, playing basketball, hiking, swimming, yoga, and playing with her new puppy Nala. Apart from that, she is always on a quest to meet new people and learn about their language and culture. For the past 2 years, Dana has worked in the Fort Lee School District, but could not be more ecstatic to return to the same place that has helped her become the educator and person she is today.

Danielle deQuintal

Danielle is a recent graduate of The College of New Jersey and can’t wait to begin her Technology Education teaching career at Pascack Valley. Her passion for hands-on learning and meaningful design is infused in all she teaches. Danielle hopes to be a role model for young women in STEM and wants to inspire all students to think outside the box and pursue their creative passions. When Danielle is not teaching, she loves spending time with family and friends, practicing yoga, and going to the beach.

Jennifer Kuo

Jennifer is thrilled to be joining the Pascack Valley family as a School Counselor. She was previously at Northern Highlands Regional High School in Allendale, NJ for 8 years as a School Counselor and JV girls’ tennis and lacrosse coach. Jen is very excited to begin building relationships with the students at PV as well as learn from and work alongside such a talented and welcoming faculty.

Jen grew up in Washington Township and earned her degree in English (BA) from the University of Maryland in 2004 and a degree in School Counseling (MA) from Montclair State University in 2008. Jen considers herself a foodie who enjoys running, hiking, cooking, travel, and hanging out with her 10-year-old rescue dog, Bubba.

Christine Pollinger

Christine Pollinger is excited to join the Pascack Valley family as an Assistant Principal.  Christine formerly served as the Program Coordinator for many years at the Park Academy program in River Vale.  She also taught high school and middle school Art at Cresskill Jr. / Sr. High School and worked as a supervisor of student teachers.  She brings a deep understanding of Special Education, and looks forward to applying her experience in both general and special education programs to her new position here at PV.

Christine grew up in Saddle Brook, NJ and earned a Fine Art degree from Montclair State University, an MS in Studio Art from the College of New Rochelle, and a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from William Paterson University.  During her free time, Christine enjoys reading, gardening, cooking (and eating), visiting museums, and of course spending time with her husband and three children.

Ron Villone

Ron is extremely excited to be a part of PV once again, this time as teacher. Ron takes pride of his time spent at PV as a student where he graduated in 2015. He continued his journey to Salisbury University in Maryland where he furthered his education as well as his baseball career. Entering his freshman year of college as a physical education major, Ron didn’t yet realize the amount of love he would have for this profession. Ron hopes to have an impact here as a teacher, coach, and mentor to students, while continuing to spread PV pride.
