PVHS Environmental Club Promotes Upcycling of Halloween Costumes

PVHS Environmental Club recently hosted its 6th annual Halloween costume upcycle drive at the Harvest Festival held on October 14th at Meadowbrook Elementary School in Hillsdale. The club’s efforts were to promote the recycling and re-use of gently used Halloween costumes. For a $1 donation, Festival attendees could select a costume for re-use. Through their efforts, club members were able to upcycle more than 40 costumes. 


 
The Environmental Club asks the community to consider donating this year’s Halloween costumes after the holiday for distribution at next year’s drive.  Please email Mrs. Michela Piccoline at [email protected] for more information.
