Message from Principal deMarrais Regarding Schedules
Graphic: A calendarOn Thursday August 27, Principal deMarrais sent a letter to parents and students releasing schedules and explaining this year's Pascack Period.

Dear Students and Parents,

Student schedules are now viewable on Genesis. Before viewing your schedule, please make note of the following items:

  • If you have a conflict or an issue with your schedule, contact your guidance counselor directly. There is a small percentage of students that have existing conflicts.
  • A tremendous effort has been made to balance classes and cohorts. With social distancing and safety as a top priority, only imperative schedule change requests will be entertained.

Pascack Period

Most students will have a "Pascack Period" in their schedule. This year "Pascack Period"  will operate as a supervised study hall or independent work period.  Students assigned "Pascack Period" must report to, and remain in the cafeteria with the following exceptions:

  • All students with "Pascack Period" during period 1 or 5 can report late to school when their "Pascack Period" starts the day. These students should arrive in time for their second class of the day.
  • All students with "Pascack Period" during period 4 or 8 can leave school early when their "Pascack Period" ends the day. Those who choose to remain in the building must report to the cafeteria.
  • Seniors who have "Pascack Period" 2,3,6,7 are allowed to leave campus as part of their senior privilege.

If you have any questions or concerns pertaining to your schedule, please contact your guidance counselor. We are looking forward to seeing everyone next week  as we kickoff the 20-21 school year.
